About Us
Health and Wellness has always been a
part of my life style. In the early
parts of 2000 when Spa Therapies began gaining in popularity it seemed like a
perfectly natural way to deal with some personal and very stressful experiences
I was going through. Massage therapy
gave me a time to myself for myself. It was the best hour I spent on
myself twice a month. Taking the time away making me a priority I began
to revisit dreams I had before I grew up, before all the responsibilities as a
single mom. I began saying no to anyone or anything that would conflict
with my personal time to unwind, something I never did before. It was taking
time off from the rush around me, to listen to my own voice.
Taking the time to unwind although a brief
one hour, it was enough cumulatively to produce in me new desires, and a
different prospective. I was intrigued that Massage Therapy had actually
worked for me. I was sold on the
benefits not however on changing my life to make this a career but I did enroll
in 2003 at the very prestigious Somerset School of Massage Therapy now Cortiva
located in

pigmentation; acne causes and treatments; machine in the Spa such as galvanic current, high

education classes annually. My personal mentors of massage therapy and skin care are amongst the best spa professionals in the area, the learning experience working with them is invaluable.
And just think I came this far by starting with a little time to unwind and a whole lot of faith and grace. It has been a journey that I am happy I embarked upon.
